TERMS OF SERVICE

King's Line is a free-to-play, browser-based, turn-based tactics game for two players. There's no payment, no premium tier, and no in-game purchases. We may add monetization in the future; if we do, we'll update these terms first.

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent/guardian.
• You must use a real email address you control.
• One account per person. Don't share accounts.

While playing, please don't:

• Cheat or use automated tools to manipulate match outcomes
• Exploit bugs you discover — please email us instead
• Harass other players via usernames or in any other in-game surface
• Impersonate other people or organisations
• Choose offensive, slurs-based, or misleading usernames
• Attempt to access another player's account or data
• Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use the service to send spam or distribute malware

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

You're responsible for keeping your password safe. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password and let us know.

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. This permanently removes your profile, stats, and match history — see our Privacy Policy for details on retention windows for analytics data.

The game, its code, art, music, and branding are owned by us. You may take screenshots and videos for personal use (streaming, social media). For commercial use (monetized streams, articles with ad revenue), please ask.

Your username is yours, but if it conflicts with someone's trademark or impersonates a public figure we may reclaim it.

King's Line is provided "as is". The service is in active development and may have bugs, downtime, or breaking changes. We don't guarantee continuous availability, balanced matchmaking, or that your match history will be preserved forever.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including lost matches, wasted time, or emotional distress from losing a king.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or extended inactivity (currently undefined — we'll give notice before any inactivity-based deletion).

If we shut down the service entirely, we'll give 30 days' notice via in-app banner and let you export your data first.

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Geneva, Switzerland — unless your local consumer protection law gives you a different right.

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. For material changes (new fees, new restrictions on use), we'll notify you in-app the next time you sign in.
